MSA grading guarantees consumers that a piece of beef will eat to the quality shown on an MSA label when cooked by the method shown. This highly effective yet simple descriptive system provides opportunities to differentiate product in the market and can form a basis for retail pricing. It is consumer-focused and generates product confidence.
The Eating Quality Assured (EQA) program is directed at the international market and is designed for trade, to support importers, distributors, wholesalers and food service industry players using chilled MSA-graded Australian beef. EQA certification can be used to underpin individual Australian beef brands.
Atron's most dominant export markets include the US, Japan, Korea, Indonesia, followed by the EU and Middle East.
